glad you finally joined jo,seeyou at the mick gig hopefully

just caught the end of danny tonnes set.sounded really good in a 1940's way. found the venue brilliant, apart from the price of the ale. john's set was great after a few gremlins at the start ,especially that new song, "fallen leaves "along with my other favorite "weeping willow." there was a really good turn out, after having visions of me' my missus and mags sitting there by ourselves.told that there are only 3 tickets left for mick on july 31st so you better get ringing up! went over to that little pub across the road at the end,where dave jackson told me his new album is coming out on john's label! and mick said he's getting his new teeth today so he should be ok for the beatles thing tonight.

congrats bob and anna hope to see you at the mick gig or did you say mcnabb?

with micks gig virtually sold out,lets hope theres a big turnout for john and danny's gig on thursday. come on shacknetters get along it's going to be great!

great place for a gig,friendly and cheerful,although no draught beer was a little letdown.john played a great little set even if he didn't play the river like i asked! there was a good crowd watching even if there was too much talking at the back,and it was nice seeing some familiar faces including a nice couple who had come over from chester to see john
