i loved shed 7. dolphin is one of my favourite tunes from that period. i thought they were a fantastic live band and if you saw em at something like leeds fest they went down a storm with any crowd. unfairly ridiculed when oasis topped the class. rick witter was sound, met him on a few occasions, good laugh. it makes me laugh when the nme continuously deride them even to this day, using them as a yardstick for all things shite and then championing the killers who are a third rate sound-a-like

I'LL BE SHOUTING LAGER LAGER LAGER IN CARDIFF. COME ON LEEDS

Modtastic! I nearly posted that the other week. I have the it somewhere, worth quite a bit now. Ebay? a lot of the mod revival stuff is. i own a helluva lot of it, but some stuff is silly money. red with purple flashes by the times fetches over 60 sovs. i have 2 singles by a mod revival band from the late eighties called the larks. dont know if anyone on here knows anything about them, cause i certainly dont. i remember buying them because i thought by the name of the band and the single covers that i would probably like em. these two singles also fetch up to £60 but i really dont know why. wonder if you ever heard of em Si No, not heard of those...I suppose amongst my rare Mod stuff are singles by the Killermeters (I have both of them) and Small Hours. twisted wheel fetches plenty, cant remember any others. only got small hours on the mods mayday 79 lp

great band si. wish i'd seen em. graham day's band solarflares are a top act too. made some great albums. faye was recently singing on the mod aid single too. she still sounds good

2 great albums, Si, tangled is probably better but the track, "the man you used to be" off apple bed is a great song. see if you can post it i also remember him being interviewed years ago and he said if he didnt have music his ambition would be to open a scooter shop with mick talbot
