Culmination of a brilliant few days in Liverpool (confirming its position as our favourite city). Loved the venue, loved the atmosphere - the first time I'd seen John/Mick/Shack in Liverpool & it made all the difference - thought John & band were outstanding. One of guys I was talking to after summed it up when he said "that was just about perfect". Dispite the fact we're totally broke, the Missus insisted I booked a couple of tickets for Mick & a cheap flight back over on her credit card before we came home. She probably wont be able to get off work but my eldest son (whos working in Manchester) is mad to see Mick so either way I'll be there. So only problem left is how to get another day off work - let me see, which ageing relative did I say died last time.
