She is a fine actor and a stunning beauty. First saw her in Mauvais sang with Binoche. A really terrific movie. Again, she was brilliant (if a bit disturbing) in Europa Europa. My only criticism of (3 colours) white was Delp wasn't in it enough! Thanks for the link, looking forward to listening.

spooky, listening to LC&tC's out and about today. Joking with a colleague that for students in the 80's it was more important to be into LC than passing exams! Turned out some top pop tunes though.

I'm sure they are but I'm a strictly esspresso or americano man meself. I like the wee biscottis they have too. And nice sarnies with salami, ham and cheese.

Its the only "coffee shop" worth going out your way for.

loads of memories of being really, really wee (well, young) and my mammy playing connie francis and everley brothers records all day long. christ i don't recall hearing her since then - about 35 years ago! must give her a wee spin

been listening to Johnny Cash a lot recently. Great stuff indeed!

Not only did I not "get" the smiths, I really detested them. I can listen to the odd single now and like it even, but any more than one a month and I start hating them again. Its Morriseys voice, it gets right on my thrupenny bits. The Clash on the other hand. Now they were a band. Don't think I've ever heard a clash song or cover I didn't like - not even on sandinista

I can honestly say, I've got nothing but total disrespect for Nick Hayward.

was that not the b side of promises or ever fallen?

yup, they are a decent band. Terry appears in the little bitch video IIRC. No Doubt used to do a half decent ska sound too. best not dwell on what gwen's up to now.

No parkas or fred perrys and docs here. It was loafers, sta-press, thin ties, harrington jacket and a pork-pie hat. Rudy, a message to you - The Specials
