wifes company Christmas party on Friday...a tour of the Shepherd Neame Brewery in Kent followed by ales and rooms at the local hostelry.
'Take a guided tour of the Shepherd Neame Brewery and see how award-winning ales and speciality lagers are brewed, then savour a superb four-course Yuletide "Beer Dinner" - freshly prepared with local ingredients. Each course is matched by a specially-selected beer whose flavours complement the food'
sounds toppa.

Dr Who on Christmas day
I wouldn't mind a trip round the Shepherd Neame Brewery instead though.

Lunchtime
No particular reason. Just work is so gash at the moment that I'm adopting a mountaineering mentality. Gettng through to dinner-time will feel like being 18,000 up Everest. A chance for liquid refreshment, carbohydrate and protein (steak pie and 2 IPA) followed by an assault on the summit of 6pm ....
I now know what its like to be a civil-servant lifer like wor lass ....

Watching the cricket highlights later.
Ha ha ha... that's me fucked.
What about other public sector workers? Everyone knows that a gaggle of nurses on the piss is quite scary...
I'd love to have seen them try to police our staff do.
