My Bloody Valentine are supposedly playing some dates next year. I'm trying to decide whether I care or not.

I know exactly where you're coming from. I know I should be all excited but I think I'm just too old now. I get annoyed when the telly is too loud and apparently they're supposed to be nose bleedingly loud live. Thing is if I don't attempt to get tickets it will be the same as when I didn't bother going to see Pixies and everyone raved on about how good the reunion gigs were and seeing the footage confirmed this. Although I'll probably forget to order tickets in the morning before they've sold out anyway.

I like a bit of MBV as much as the next man, but I was lucky(??) enough to see them play a few times thefirst time around...
All well and good - and a top band, in fact Kevin Shields is a potential musical genius - but on record its one thing...and live its another...
I have witnessed a 35 minute version (and thats being conservative) of You Made Me Realise that made my ears bleed too many times...!
I also remember seeing them supporting the JAMC - they only played for 45 minutes. 2 songs! Scratch That - 2 Chords...

Get in.
Loveless is one of my favourite albums of all time and I would definitely go to see MBV
I'm seeing Spiritualized/Spaceman 3 in a couple of weeks which should be a cracker.
what the fuck is mum & dad?
