wish i'd known about this i'd have been there in a breath, looks good jeff. have a good one.

and things i like today is the flags in the pub. put all sixteen nations flags on the ceiling then sneaked a big leeds one in.... this has caused offence to a few but ive relaxed the law and allowed other teams england flags in so we have bradford city, chelsea and liverpool so far with more to come. reckon the whole pub could be covered soon. and i have a special place under the urinal if anyone dares brings a scumchester one in......

Bradley Wiggins.

Not only has he just won the Tour de France, and is a mod to boot, but he said something along the lines of "it will be nice to be recognised by the British public because British culture is full of examples of people being famous for achieving nothing."
Amen!

An even more amazing double first (more than gold medals & winning the tour of france) has got to be that he's the only mod & successful pro cyclist not to do drugs, now that is something.

Brilliant.

Nearly as good as the quote I heard shouted across a packed Runcorn Old Town curry house at 2am...

"Oi! Gunga Din, get us some more of those big crisps"

I bet their curries had plenty of extras.
