I might have to downgrade the pints to "units" of alcohol, but I like your thinking Steve.

I find it quite ludicrous that tickets are on sale even though the opponent hasn't been announced

was told off (by a woman) the other day for calling someone a cunt - she objected to the term cause of what it means. So me being in a fairly cunty mood replied " I know, I know exactly what you mean, I get soo upset when I hear someone called a prick or a knob or dickhead cause of what that means as well. But you have to realise that when I call someone a " proper cunt" I'm neither swearing at them or expressing an opinion but stating a fact & I just dont know any other term for it."
She looked at me blankly, some people just have no sense of humour.

The word 'cunt' is pretty much outlawed over here in Canada and North America. You can literally silence a room with it man, not that it's ever stopped me using it left right and centre. Where I'm originally from it's almost a term of endearment and most defeinitely used in everyday language, certainly by people my age and younger anyway. Meet up with anyone and it's 'alright y'cunt', make a mistake it's 'y'daft cunt' and so on. I was both shocked and amused when I saw how they react to its use over here, but you're bang on there Richie, prick and dickhead etc. won't even raise an eyebrow. Cunts.

"You cheeky cunt" is a great response between mates. It has it all: affection, respect and the word cunt.
