Wasn't sure where to put this so thought it best to start a new topic for it.
We've set this up to release our own stuff and other archival recordings some digitally, some in hard copy (like Phil's album fer instance and hopefully the new Postcode album when the artwork has been sorted).
For now though, go have a nose and if you like what you hear/see, please buy. A lot of the stuff will be on a pay what you want basis, we've got a few projects on the go at the moment and the plan is for at least one release every month.
There's a link to a tumblr blog in the about section too.

There's a fella called Mick Head from around Liverpool who's trying to get an lp released, could be worth chasing up. Get the "package" right & your in.
Here's hoping anyway.

Our latest release is now available, it's a download only charity album to raise funds for the ongoing care of a local man, Chris Walmsley, who was left paralysed 6 years ago following a car accident, he has recently undergone stem cell therapy and the results are very encouraging:

We're doing a Christmas album, drop us a track if you would like to be involved - original or cover, be great to have Shacknetters on board. It's going to be a download only free release (or pay what you want type of thing) and we're aiming to have it ready to go on 17th December.

Zebranthology available too - Postcode's first 3 albums and other unreleased and previously download only material on a glass mastered 46 track double CD package with 8 page booklet including liner notes by Mikie: http://postcode.bandcamp.com/

We got a four star review in Record Collector today for our charity release, with notable mentions to The Gifted, The Slimees and The Slow Hours, which is brilliant in itself and even moreso because The Slow Hours are myself and Phil. (Phil will need to email them though because they said we were from the Isle of Wight - D'oh!).

Our latest release, a Christmas album no less! My favourite is John Smiley's and I'm rather partial to Postcode's track obv and Phil's done a lovely version of Little Donkey. Check em all out though, it's a free download. Spread it around too if you feel the urge. Thanks. Marie X

If you would like to know some of what we've been up to go to our youtube channel for a look at some of the videos from the first of our Small Bear Sessions, recorded live on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2013. Tracks from Postcode and Clara Barker, who are on Small Bear Records and our friend Phil Garry, who came along to watch but we made him play too
