Total Wipeout on BBC 1 now. It's like a terrible Takeshi's Castle. I'm not sure what's going on really.

I've never seen it but the trailers made me think it was the reincarnation of It's A Knockout

I think it was an attempt to do something between Takeshi's and It's A Knockout and failed miserably.

It had the annoying personalities of people willing to do It's A Knockout but lacked the complete pointlessness of Takeshi's by offering a big fat prize to the winner. Some of the games were impossible while in Takeshi's they were just really difficult and they'd normally be some nutcase who could complete them. Plus instead of Craig Charles's commentary it had Richard fucking Hammond wittering witless nonsense.

Ant, you're lucky our admin's not arsed about this place or you'd be in deep, deep trouble.

Was good this. I stayed up and watched Springsteen at the Superbowl later that evening. Two legends. Both very different but also very similar.

Can't see Neil Young ever going in for knee skids.
